KM3 MARINA

KM3 is a touristic marina that has CIMAT (Comisión de Marinas y Atracaderos Turísticos) permits. This entity is in charge of granting permits to all marinas and docks in the country. They are generally strict in their deliberations.

KM3 is located in Golfito city center and has a master plan that includes a small hotel, a restaurant, apartments for crew members and other leisure designated areas.

The beach club at Golfo Dulce Preserve is located in KM3, a part of the project centrally located in downtown Golfito. It is a 5 minute boat ride away from The Preserve main land. KM3 is a property acquired to develop a 150-slip marina that has permits and is ready to start construction. Below you will find the marina permits, the master plan and its location within The Preserve.

HURRICANE FREE ZONE

Golfito Bay is the most naturally protected port in Central America. Its name literally explains its privileged position; a small gulf within a larger gulf. This results in extremely calm waters where boat rock and roll is virtually zero and natural disasters like hurricanes and storms have both gulfs as barriers protecting the water and land in Golfito.

This has made the area an exclusive destination on the Pacific Coast for all Yacht transport companies.
